how to limit access for specific users to a calender

Is it possible to limit Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 so that specific user can't see and access calenders.

Im not much into SharePoint. 

Tried creating , custimazing, giving premession to selected selfmade groups .

I hope some of you out there can help.. thanks in advance!
