Move sharepoint hosting from webserver to azure account

Hi everyone,

We have a plan to decommission the sharepoint web server. So we thought to host the same site to our azure account.

We thought to create the VM under the azure account and host the IIS with changing the DNS settings.

can anyone please share the different possibilities ??
