User Profile Synchronization Service is in "Starting" mode.

Hi,

I am using a SharePoint Server 2010. I tried to start the User Profile Synchronization Service. It just shows "Starting" and after few minutes it goes to "Stop" mode automatically.

I have added the farm user as a local administrator.

I have cleared all the Configuration cache.

I have also deleted the existing User Profile Service Application(UPSA) and created a new UPSA.

It still shows "Starting".

The error with event ID 8077 occurs in the event viewer.

The error message is:

"There are no instances of the User Profile Service started on any server in this farm. Ensure that at least one instance is started on an application server in the farm using the Services on Server page in Central Administration."

What could be the possible error? Where are we going wrong? We read many blogs and followed the steps just like that. But it is not working.?
