Is it possible to restore WSS Web Application in SharePoint Foundation 2010

I have Web Application in WSS. Now i want to move the WSS Web Application in to SharePoint Foundation 2010 server.

Is it possible possible to backup the WSS site collection and restore in SharePoint Foundation 2010.
