User is always reset to inactive

Good day,

I have an issue on one of our farms. There is a user account that is always set back as inactive and we can't determine the cause. I found a procedure where it says to delete the user from the site collection , give him access again then ask them to do a modification on the site but the next day that user is set to inactive and loses all his permission.

Any Ideas?
