We are having an issue with a patch that was released on October 13 for Excel (KB3055034). Ever since this patch was applied to our desktops, Excel crashes when attempting to open spreadsheets on SharePoint. Excel also crashes when attempting to select a list and then choose Export to Excel. The error generated in the Application log is as follows:

Does anyone know if Microsoft is working on resolving this issue. Also, does anyone have a workaround other than removing the patch?
