Move Query and Crawl component from Query and Crawl server in SharePoint 2010

Hi Rober07,

we have 6 servers in Farm.

2 - app servers

2- WFE

2 - Query and Index server.

we want to move Query and Crawl component from Query & Index server to App servers.

Please explain the steps in details and impact. do we need to do index reset after moving the component?. After moving the component we will remove Query and Index server from the Farm. Please help me out.
