Reinitialization may be necessary

Background: Our search field on our SharePoint 2010 does not function.

Comes up with a different error every time.

All the errors look identical in the Log...

Critical   The last query component (63110444-ee0d-4b0f-8752-cc0752c35daa-query-0) of a partition failed. It will not be taken out of rotation but queries are likely to fail. Check previous event logs to determine cause. Reinitialization may be necessary.

I am the new guy here, so I am a bit hesitant to try to fix anything without approval (strict place and it is our production server).

But there were large amounts of errors
