SharePoint 2010 User Code Host service terminated unexpectedly - call failed with error code PDH_INVALID_HANDLE

Hi,

When I start the Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Sandboxed Code Service in Central Admin it appears to start fine, however in Services.msc theSharePoint 2010 User Code Host is not started.

When I check the logs the error mentions PDH_INVALID_HANDLE

I have seen resolutions for other PDH errors but none for the PDH_INVALID_HANDLE error, any help would be greatly appreciated.
