Adding a new server to an existing Farm

Hi,

I have a SharePoint farm with two servers (1 - WFE and App both in one and 1 - DB Server)

The WFE/ App Server is at patch level 14.0.7149.5000.

I want to add a new server to this farm as a WFE.

Now, after installing SharePoint, do I need to install Service pack 2 first and then this CU as well before adding this server to the existing farm?
