I have configured the pdf ifilter in my sp 2010 env. but after installing and making changes in the 14 hive xml file and adding the pdf icon entry , and after crawling and rebooting the server and again running the full crawl and resetting the iis, and restarting the services.msc , am not able to get the pdf icon and not able to search the pdf docs.
I have added the guid in the regedit as well.
what may be wrong ?
