Hi all-
As a result of my learning curve with SharePoint, I was required to delete by web application and corresponding site collections and rebuild them. Prior to deletion and re-creation, I am told that the Managed navigation / managed metadeta service was working (i.e. information in the Global Navigation and and Current Navigation areas populated properly). I have looked over my setup using the following info: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Enable-managed-navigation-for-a-site-in-SharePoint-49a067dc-77d2-455d-9e77-250ec7cc0a6d and all appears OK in the operational environment.
One thing that occurs to me is the need to delete/re-create the term set or update it. Is that a possibility? To my knowledge, the term set has not been changed/updated since the webapp and site collections were deleted and re-created. Are there URLs in the term set that need to be updated to reflect the new URLs of the host-named site collections? Other troubleshooting articles I might check out?
