moving to a new domain - build new farm attached the content DB - recreated the UPSA with the "old" dbs - except the Sync (create new one) - but the service wont start at all... - It feels like I've tried everything in order to resolve this starting.
Deleted the UPSA - recreated it - farm account assigned to all the dbs as owner, apppool account check, etc. etc.
the FIM service have status disabled before hitting the start service
maybe one can point me in the right "direction" ?
All the profiles in the UPSA are olddomain\username - I' ran the Move-SPuser on all accounts - but its not changed in the UPSA to newdomain\username
