Hi,
We have two calendars from Sharepoint that we synch with Outlook. One of them has a normal name like: OGA and everyone has contribute access. They can edit, delete, etc. with no problem and everything syncs fine with outlook 2010. We also have our events calendar called: GC_Scheduling where only the event personal has contribute access and the rest have only view access. Now this calendar seems to always give us problems with syncing. One of the event planners can make changes to an event via outlook but it won't save the changes. These two are the error messages we usually receive from this calendar:
1. Task 'Sharepoint' reported error (0x80004005): 'failed to copy one or more items. for more details, see the log file.'
2. Task 'Sharepoint' reported error (0x800040102) : 'Outlook cannot connect to the Sharepoint List (GC_Scheduling - Calendar). The server may not be reachable from your location. Contact the Sharepoint site administrator for more information.'
