SharePoint 2010_Full Crawl and Incremental Crawl

Hi,

scenario : During incremental crawling full crwal sceduled time is reached, that time incremental crwal is stoped or paused..

(or) Once incremental crawl finised only full crwal start ?  or  current incremental crawl is stoped and pickup full crawl as per the schedule  kindly clarify?

also viceversa, during full crwaling, wether incrmental crawl is running as per the schedule(for example 1 hour interval) ??
