can not restore beacuse of stopping timer job

hi

i install sp1 for sharepoint 2010 and after that i run configuration wizard again.

then i wanted to restore my back up but alert me that

Timer service is stopped. Start the Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Timer 2010 service in order for the operation to continue.

i run the sharepoint tiner 2010 in services but my problem not solved

what should i do

can any body help me thanks
