User checked out the .xls document in Excel 2010 and checked in yesterday.
This morning she found her changes is not there at all. When I checked the version history, she did check in at the time she mentioned. But the current version has same size as previous minor version, and content are also the same.
Our SharePoint Environment:
- SharePoint 2010 Foundation sp1
- 2 WEB server node behind KEMP hardware load balancer.
- The related Site collection feed user with HTTPS URL, SSL terminated at the KEMP and re-encrypted into https again, forward HTTPS request to the backend server.
- User has a Windows 7 Enterprise with Office 2010
- The document she was modifying is in xls format.
- Tried "Recover unsaved workbook" from her Laptop. Only recover a small portion of her work...but not everything.
- We also has people using Office 2003 in XP PRO.
- User did not receive any error from IE or MS office.
We got more and more user report SharePoint missing content recently, I am not sure what's the cause of the issue..
Need some guideline for troubleshooting.
