We set up a test farm that is the same size as our production farm. All servers are 2008 R2. SharePoint is on 2010 SP1 in both farms. There are two domains: PROD\ and LAB\. There are no domain trusts and the customer refuses to use them between these domains. The end state is we just want at least one account to see the content to test patching.
We have:
- built a new farm at the same patch level to mirror prod.
- taken a db backup from prod, restored to the new LAB\ farm's sql, and did a "add content db" in the lab's CA. everything looks normal when we look at view all site collections in CA, and I can set a LAB\ account to be site collection admin from
lab CA
- the service account names are the same in both prod and the lab, with same passwords.
- custom content was copied over from WFE's to new WFE's
No content is showing up and we're just getting correlation ID's. Anonymous access enabled does not let us see content either. Any ideas on what we're missing? Thanks.
