PDF Metadata into a Sharepoint Column?

Hello,

I am trying to figure something out for my Business Intelligence team. They are producing reports and exporting them as pdfs (with metadata automatically added). I want this metadata to be imported into a column in the sharepoint library where the file is being saved.

Is there any way to do this?
