SharePoint 2010 sub-site - How to Share Lists and Libraries and Establish a Separate Search

I am hoping one you SharePoint experts can help with this!

I created a new team site as a sub-site using SharePoint 2010 (Enterprise). I don't see the libraries established under the main site.

• Is there a way these lists and libraries can be shared? How?
• Is there a way to set up a search on the sub-site to only search for the lists and libraries on that site (if shared with main site)?
• How do I customize search results in this case?
