sub-site access issue

I created a test site...I can acess this by typing http:\\test.abc.com. After intalling the SSL certificate, I can even accesshttps://test.abc.com. But when I create a site under test.abc.com for examplehttps://test.abc.com/test1, I cant access it. I can only accesshttps://test.abc.com

 Let me know your ideas.
