Hi everyone,
I'm trying to disable all the functionality of the Office Web Apps on my SharePoint farm. I've gone through the process of disabling the features across all site collections, activating the "Open in CLient" feature across all SC's, stopping the respective OWA services, and removing the service connections.
However, when I try to open any document (Excel, Word, PP), it still always tries to open within OWA, and then errors out because I've disabled the service connections/services/etc. I've confirmed that the Site/Library shows OWA as deactivated, and open in client is set as the default behavior.
Any ideas why this would still be occurring?
