I have a SharePoint 2010 website that site columns that are bound to content types defined in a content type hub. The values to the site column are added from a term store defined in Managed Metadata service. After I added a new term in the term store and tried to add the new term value to the site column I got the following error. Further investigation revealed that the TaxonomyHiddenList for this site collection didn't have the new term that was added to the term store. Not sure if not having the value in THL is the cause of this issue. I also tried running the Taxonomy updater timer job but that didn't help. Also ran SyncHiddenList from SharePoint.Taxonomy using PowerShell to manually force the TaxonomyHiddenList to update with the new term but didn't help either. Please advise.
