We have had a domain migration. We have set up a new SharePoint farm in a new domain. We need to migrate the data from the old domain to the new domain (both farms are SharePoint 2010 Enterprise).
We have migrated the content database to the new farm.
How does this work for the Managed Metadata Service?
I can restore the old Managed Metadata database to the new domain. I have set up a new Managed Metadata Service en can update it to point to the restored database. (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee530392.aspx)
But are the terms automatically reconnected to the columns in the SharePoint sites? Or do I need to manually reconnect the terms?
