how to delete files and folder from backup location

Hi,

i take farm full backup using powershell spfarm-back. backup created at  d:\SPBackup. On each sunday i have to take full backup, before taking new backup i have to clean / delete all folders and files from d:\SPBackup

Please guide how can i automatically delete files and folder from backup location before taking new farm full backup.
