Site along with its subsites to be migrated to new Site Collection

How could we move the Site along with subsites contents (Approx 8 GB) to a new site collection . While we tried to export entire Site we fould there were more than 200 .CMP file generating which were almost impossible to import back to a new site under the new site collection . Is there any other way to achieve this goal .Please suggest .
