My Site issue - profile exists but my site deleted for a specific user?

Hi there,

I enabled the My Site Cleanup job - and then - a user received the email that "The My Site of John Smith is scheduled for deletion".

I can see his profile at :
- http://mysite.sp2010/Person.aspx?accountname=SAC%5Cjohnsmith

But not at:
- http://mysite.sp2010/sites/johnsmith

For all other users both URLs are valid - but just for this user the second URL does not work.

Any ideas on what might have gone wrong? And how to get this site back on the second URL as well?
