Moving company website from SBS 2003 to SBS 2011 fails at restore backup

Hi im hope this is the right place to ask this as it is a sharepoint/SQL issue.

I have been doing a migration from SBS 2003 to SBS 2011 and have been able to do everything up until the point of restoring the backup database to the new server. I have followed the steps in ("http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg563801.aspx") and came to the section ("http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg563792.aspx") Subsection "To migrate the internal website" Part 3 R

"Restore the Source Server database to the Destination Server" in the 3rd part of this I took the instructions as I though to the letter in other words when it said "Expand the databases, right-click ShareWebDb and choose delete. Check Close existing connectionsonly, and then click OK. Then I took this to mean I had to untick the box “Delete backup and restore history information for databases”. I am now assuming this was the wrong thing to do?

In the 10th part of this I took “In theLocate Backup File dialog box, select the file that you want to restore, clickOK, and then, in the Specify Backup dialog box, clickOK.” To be referring to the backup database I had made during the previous section “Prepare to migrate from Windows SharePoint Services 3.0” (I apologize if this is not clear but the instructions are not clear either!)

  1. Anyway to continue in the next sections 11, 12, 13, and 14. It says

“In the Restore Database dialog box, under Select the backup sets to restore grid, select the Restore check box next to the most recent full backup.

In theRestore Database dialog box, under Select a page click theOptions page. Under Restore options, select theOverwrite the existing database check box.

If you have moved the data storage location for SharePoint, restore the database to the new location.

ClickOK to start the restore process.”

I did exactly as asked but at section 14 when it asks to “Click OK to start the restore process”

I get an error message… “Restore failed for Server ‘Company-Server\SharePoint’ (Microsoft.SQLServer.SmoExtended)

Additional Information

System.Data.SQLClient.SQLError: The media set has two media families but only 1 are provided. All members must be provided. (Microsoft.SQLServer.Smo)”

Is this because I unticked the “Delete backup and restore history information for databases” at the point explained above??????

I am totally at a loss as to what to do next??????????

Help???????????? Pleassseeee
