Problems with user permissions (MOSS 2007 )

Hi!

I am using MOSS2007 and have some problems with user permissions:

I have created custom list and granted “contribute” permission to users. When users gets to that list and create records, they are not able to modify some of them afterwards.

But at the same time, in case I transform this list to table view, users can modify records as supposed to.

I tried to grant “contribute” permission to users on parent node level, but with the same results.

My system specifications is: MOSS x64 version 12.0.0.6421 on Windows Server 2003 x64 SP2
