sharepoint 2010 does not open after migration

But the correlation ID does not show up in any logs that I have.

We have tried changing the site definitions to default, tried changing the master page, and so far none of the folders, lists or pages at this site are viewable.

Interestingly enough, subsites are accessible.

Does anyone have suggestions on other things to try. This is of course a high profile important site.
