All of a sudden last week on one of our SharePoint sites the Site owner is now missing the Site actions button. These are the default SharePoint groups / permissions and not custom. I created a test account and made myself a owner with out any success
also and the same thing when I placed myself in the designer group. I can see the Site actions menu with my admin account and I am also a Site collection administrator. Any suggestions? I have checked all the permissions and everything looks correct and I
looked under the Web application site collection quotas / locks with nothing being locked.
