SharePoint Server 2010 - open a list with access fails

I faced a problem in our SharePoint Server 2010 enterprise environment. Multiple clients reported an issue while trying to open a Sharepoint list with Access 2010. This functionality was o.k. a couple of months ago, but now SharePoint reports, that a compatible application cannot be found and the export to a database failed. The export of that list to excel is working.

Due to some research, I found out that some users had a workaround by uninstalling office 2010 SP2 (KB2687455), which is not an option for us. Our security officers would kill me instantly. :-)

Does anybody found a solution for this issue ? Would be very glad, if yes....
