Two Sharepoint Farms on One Front End Web Server - SPF2010

We're currently in the process of setting up a new SPF 2010 site which will be available internally and on the Internet.

We already have a WSS 3.0 site extended out to our front end web server.

Is there any way we can utilize that same web server for SPF 2010 or is the only option install SPF 2010 on a new web server?  We need to keep the SPF 2010 site and the WSS 3.0 site at the moment, I'd like to be able to use the web server for both farms.
