I have a WSP with my branding masterpages and CSS that I have created in Visual Studio 2010. I can deploy this directly from VS2010 and active the feature in the Site Collection and it works. If I try and deploy the feature from a WSP and Powershell, I can Add the solution and then Install it with no issues. The feature shows up in every Site Collection in the Farm.
My issue is I'm not able to Enable the feature via Powershell as it keeps reporting the "The Feature is not a Farm Level Feature and is not found in a Site level defined by the Url http://xxxxx". I have tried getting the features from the 4 levels and I don't see my feature listed but it is in the GUI Site Collection features and I can enable it from the GUI. Why can't I automate this process for my many Site Collections?
