Hi,
In a bit of a spot, looking for some assistance.
I had a Subsite called /web1 (with multiple subwebs) stemming off the root site collection. Thinking it was a great idea at the time to turn that sub site into it's own site collection with its own content DB, I inadvertantly created a site collection in CA with the same URL. This of course failed and promptly took out the existing Sub Site.
After a lot of cafuffle, I finally managed to remove the sub site via powershell, create a site collection, restore the site into it from a backup etc etc.
All seems to be working happily, except for Reporting services, which, when I try to activate it on the root site collection, ULS throws an error saying it cannot find /web1/subsite1
ULS Errors are:
There is no Web named "/web1/subsite1".
Possible mismatch between the reported error with code = 0x81070504 and message: "There is no Web named "/web1/subsite1"." and the returned error with code 0x80070002.

Does anyone know how to remove the reference to /web1 and it's subsites from the root site content DB?
Thanks
