Problems with the & symbol in the term store management

Hi,

I encountered a strange error in the production environment of one of our customers. The ‘&’ symbol is being shown, in the term store management, as this ‘□’ symbol. In our test environment this problem does not occur.

Did anyone else encounter this issue? I am really curious what causes it.
