Alternate access mappings have not been configured

I have read a couple of forum postings about this problem, but couldn't find an answer.

Event 8059

Alternate access mappings have not been configured.  Users or services are accessing the site http://sharepoint with the URL http://10.10.10.24.  This may cause incorrect links to be stored or returned to users.  If this is expected, add the URL http://10.10.10.24 as an AAM response URL.  For more information, see: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=114854"/>

Our sharepoint server is internal only with no front end or public access.  What exactly do I need to do to correct this error?
