benefits of enable iis logs in sharepoint web front end servers

Hi

in my sharepoint2010 farm there is IIS logs enabled,

and when and which conditions they userful, if I disabled I will face any problems in future

I seen in c drive every date these logs creating and they has huge space now since last year 150 GB,

in web application daily many users upload documents and they search documents
