SharePoint 2010 Server - AD server crashed, need to move to new AD domain

Hi All,

I was hopping that someone here can help me.

I just got back from a 2 week vacation and found out that our company's AD server crashed and NO backups was ever done on the server!  So someone here had to build a new AD server with a new domain.

The SharePoint 2010 server has been down since then (they were waiting for me to return from vacation to deal with it), and was on the old domain (eg. companydomain1).  The new AD server is on a new domain (companydomain2).  Now I have the task to move the SharePoint 2010 server off the old domain name and put it on the new domain (from companydoamin1 to companydomain2).

I've never done this before and would like some guidance as to how I would go about doing this?

Is this what I have to do?  The difference is that I need to keep this SharePoint 2010 server on the same physical server, and not onto another box.
