Export list of more than 5000 items to sql server tables (C # or SSIS)

Hi I am trying to export a list of records to a sql 8000 table to check out one of reports. 

I've tried with code c # and sharepoint list adapter and have not had good results. 

The list type calendar and has concurrent events.
