Search Services Application mirroring : SharePoint 2013

Hi,

We are having search performance issues on our SP 2013 farm. 

We noticed that all the search components were running on one server. 

We created a clone of the existing topology and added a new server to the clone and activated the new topology, now all the search components are running on both the servers. Please see the screenshot below

Will it improve the search performance?
