Error logs are unclear

    Using Sharepoint 2010 Server and the UI I created an intranet
that worked fine.

    During that time I saw that the Servers hard drives were visible in
Windows Explorer "Network".

    Subsequently, I "UnShared" all of the folders on the Server's hard drives.
The effect of that was everytime the url to the servers to the intranet reside on
the user was prompted for their username and password.

    So I copied all of the files and folders off of the Sharepoint Server that
had nothing to do with its operating.

    The problem is now, no account can logon, not the farm account or any account
can logon to the intranet.

    I am however able to access Central Administration but the trying to logon
to the intranet returns:

        "Error: Access Denied"

    I created superuser and superreader accounts, granted full control in User
Policy to the web applications but still I am denied access.

    I think the Logs would explain better but how do I read the logs in 14 hive
and get any understanding out of them?
