If you get the following errors in SharePoint when using SSL:
- Site Settings: "File Not Found"
- Upload Document: "List does not exist. The page you selected contains a list that does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user."
- ECB menu: "This item is no longer available. It may have been deleted by another user. Click 'OK' to refresh the page."
... ensure you have configured your Alternate Access Mappings (AAMs) properly.
Interestingly there's also SharePoint Hotfix from 2 days ago seems to address a similar error caused by the ECB menu but is apparently unrelated to the AAM:
- "You click a combo box of a list item to try to display the Edit Control Block (ECB) menu in SharePoint Foundation 2010. Additionally, the ECB menu is located in aListViewByQuery type custom web part. In this situation, the ECB menu does not appear and you receive the following error message:Additionally, after you refresh the page, the ECB menu still cannot be displayed."This item is no longer available. It may have been deleted by another user. Click 'OK' to refresh the page.
