sharepoint 2010 gantt chart does not render in 32 bit Internet Explorer 9

I have created a simple task list and populated it with a few entries. I added the gantt chart view to my page and thought everything was good to go, until I came across a few users that are not able to see the populated gantt chart. My issue is that within this enviornment some users are running the new desktop image and some are running older versions. After troubleshooting the issue I notice that the gantt chart renders on IE9 64 bit verions and not in the 32 bit versions. I have tried to go to my trusty sidekick google but have not been able to find a resolution to my issue.
