configuration failed an exception of type system.data.sqlclient.sqlexception was thrown

hello,

I installed sql 2012  trial then I installed sharepoint 2010 trial when I run the products configuration wizard I have this error message.   failed,  an exception of type system.data.sqlclient.sqlexception was thrown. additional exception information:could not find stored procedure'sp_dboption'.

any suggestions to resolve this problem.
