So we have some intresting issue. The issue is: We have 10 sites in SharePoint 2010 Farm. We've developed some application that can connect each document library in all our 10 sites by UNC Path. To be able to do it we have implemented following fix on all our Windows 7 and Windows 2008:
- Click Start, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
- Locate and then click the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WebClient\Parameters
- On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click Multi-String Value.
- Type AuthForwardServerList , and then press ENTER.
- On the Edit menu, click Modify.
- In the Value date box we entered all 10 sites in out farm.
All started working but there is only one site, that we can access his document library by UNC Path from all computers with Windows 2008 installed on it, but can't access from Windows 7.
*Note: While trying open the file from Windows 7 i run Wireshare. In Wireshare i see following error:
"389 HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized"
What could the reason?
