Patching SharePoint 2010

Hi,

I want to install SP2 on my SharePoint 2010 enterprise environment. Currently it is Sp1 with Dec 2012 CU. Please confirm if

1. Installation of SharePoint foundation SP2 is required before installation of SharePoint server 2010

2. Latest CU will contain all service pack released before. If I install April 2014 CU it will contain SP2 also.
