I have a simple Records Center that has several custom fields in a custom content type. When I add multiple documents to the drop off library, a workflow sets the fields based on file names. These fields are all getting set immediately when documents are copied into the drop off library, but the documents are not getting routed to the appropriate records center until I edit properties on each document and save it. No changes are required during this edit as they have all been set by the workflow. I have 10s of thousands of documents to enter so editing and saving properties on each one is out of the question.
Is there a way to get the drop off library to automatically process the documents with the assigned metadata and not have to open each property sheet and save?
