Unable to create snapshot - VSS Writer issue

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone can shed any light on the following issue I'm currently having

Firstly its backup related and we use a cloud solution called Asigra (v12)

From last Friday the Asigra backup has not been able to capture a snapshot of the databases. Before then it has worked absolutely fine and the only thing I've done is create a new SharePoint web analytics service.

When I go onto both SQL and front end SharePoint server and run VSSADMIN LIST WRITERS, the SharePoint VSS writer does not appear in the list so I go to register it using STSADMIN and it saying SUCCESSFULLY REGISTERED (on both servers) however running VSSADMIN again still doesn't list it.

I desperately need the backups to work as they did before so any guidance on how to get the SharePoint services VSS Writer working again would be hugely appreciated..

If any guidance fixes this issue ill offer a THANK YOU incentive...
