Hi we have a relatively new implementation of SharePoint 2010 standard with the latest service patch set up.
We have MySites ready to roll, but we've turned off the Shared Documents aspect of it, and we're more interested in some of the social aspects of it, but really the basic part of it working.
When I go to add a colleague, and click on the people picker and search for anyone in our organization named "Brian" for example nobody shows up in the results.
If I go back to SharePoint and do the same thing I get over 100 names showing up.
Some people do show up in the results in MySites, and the pattern appears to be anyone who has logged into SharePoint will appear in MySites. Is this normal, or is there a setting somewhere in Central Admin I need to go to and turn something on?
